This is a great detox clay mask great for dull skin. It’s an easy, simply, and affordable mixture with one secret ingredient: kitty litter. The key ingredient is bentonite clay, which is found in kitty litter. Bentonite clay and honey promote skin improvements, and the clay removes impurities, drawing out toxins.
To make the mask:
Mix 1 tablespoon of bentonite clay (kitty litter), 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, 1/2 tablespoon of honey and a splash of water until it’s a yogurt consistency. Then, rub it into your skin and let dry for 10-15 minutes then rinse off.
Notes about kitty litter and bentonite clay: avoid any kitty litter with crystals or other scented ingredients or properties. They can irritate your skin. You must use basic all clay kitty litter. Also keep 1 bag especially for making masks–do not share a bag with your cat! The scoop will contaminate your supply which will make it useless for using the clay for your masks.
