Super Flax Muffin

These super flaxseed muffins are a great way to start your day right and not to mention heart-healthy!

  • 1 1/4 cup of flaxseeds
  • 3/4 cup of chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup of hemp seeds
  • 2 cups plant milk
  • Stevia to taste or use a milk alternative with stevia. If you are able to consume sugar, maple syrup or cane sugars are other possibilities.
  • Either 1 heaping tbsp of baking soda and 1 heaping tbsp of baking powder or 2 heaping tbsp of apple cider vinegar.

Optional:

  • 3 to 5 heaping tbsp of almond butter or any nut butter.
  • 2 to 3 heaping tbsp of sugar free fruit jam.
